Nymphs of Erasinus

THE ERASINIDES were four Naiad-nymphs of the River Erasinos in Argolis (southern Greece). They welcomed, and became attendants of, the goddess Britomartis when she arrived in their country from Phoinikia (Phoenicia) or the island of Krete (Crete).
