ANKHIROE (Anchiroe) was the Naiad-nymph of the spring, well or fountain of the main town of the Psylloi tribe on the River Khremetes (Chremetes) in Libya (North Africa). She was the wife of Psyllos, the eponymous first king of the tribe.
