MENIPPE

Translation

Strong-Horse (menos, hippos)

MENIPPE was a Naiad-nymph of the river Peneios (Peneus) in Thessalia (northern Greece). Her son Phrastor emigrated to Italy where he became king of the Tyrrhenians.
