Friedrich Josias Carl Edward Ernst Kyrill Harald Prinz von Sachsen-Coburg und Gotha was born on 29 November 1918 at Callenberg Castle.2 He was the son of Charles Edward George Albert Leopold Saxe-Coburg and Gotha, 2nd Duke of Albany and Viktoria Adelheid Helene Luise Marie Friederike Prinzessin zu Schleswig-Holstein-Sonderburg-Glücksburg.1 He married, firstly, Victoria Louise Frederica Caroline Matildhe Gräfin zu Solms-Baruth, daughter of Hans Georg Graf zu Solms-Baruth and Karoline Mathilde Prinzessin zu Schleswig-Holstein-Sonderburg-Glücksburg, on 25 January 1942.2 He and Victoria Louise Frederica Caroline Matildhe Gräfin zu Solms-Baruth were divorced on 19 September 1946.2 He married, secondly, Denyse Henriette de Muralt, daughter of Gaston Robert de Muralt and Pierette Gabrielle Maurice, on 14 February 1948 at San Francisco, California, U.S.A.G.2 He and Denyse Henriette de Muralt were divorced on 17 September 1964 at Hamburg, GermanyG.2 He married, thirdly, Katherine Bremme, daughter of Dietrich Karl Bremme and Margarete Anna Spottke, on 30 October 1964 at Hamburg, GermanyG.2 He died on 23 January 1998 at age 79.3
