Georg Alexander Herzog von Mecklenburg1

Georg Alexander Herzog von Mecklenburg was born on 5 October 1899 at Oranienbaum, RussiaG.2 He was the son of Georg Alexander Herzog von Mecklenburg-Strelitz and Nataliya Feodorovna Vanljarskya.2 He married, firstly, Irina Mikhailovna Raievskya, daughter of Maj.-Gen. Mikhail Nikolaievich Raievsky and Mariya Grigorievna Gagarina, Princess Gagarina, on 7 October 1920 at Geneva, SwitzerlandG.2 He married, secondly, Charlotte Hedwig Erzherzogin von Österreich, daughter of Karl I Kaiser von Österreich and Zita Maria delle Grazie di Borbone, Principessa di Parma, on 21 July 1956 at Pöcking, Bayern, GermanyG, in a civil marriage.2,3 Georg Alexander and Charlotte Hedwig were also married in a religious ceremony on 25 July 1956.3 He died on 6 July 1963 at age 63 at Sigmaringen, Baden-Württemburg, Germany.2
He gained the title of Graf von Carlow.2 He was given the name of Georg Alexander Michael Friedrich Wilhelm Albrecht Theodore Franz at birth.3 He gained the title of Herzog von Mecklenburg in 1928. On 5 October 1928 his name was legally changed to Georg von Mecklenburg.2

She married, secondly, Hubertus Joseph Alphonse Carl Michael Maria Graf von Kageneck, son of Franz Joseph Graf von Kageneck and Elisabeth Maria Prinzessin von Bayern, on 22 October 1994.
She was a member of the House of Habsburg-Lorraine. She gained the title of Erzherzogin von Österreich.1 From 14 January 1984, her married name became d'Antin. Her married name became von Kageneck.
