Lady Margaret Butler was born circa 1460.1 She was the daughter of Thomas Butler, 7th Earl of Ormonde and Anne Hankeford.2,1 She married Sir William Boleyn, son of Sir Geoffrey Boleyn and Ann Hoo, before 1477.1 She died between 30 September 1539 and 20 March 1540.1
From before 1477, her married name became Boleyn.

Thomas Butler, 7th Earl of Ormonde1

Thomas Butler, 7th Earl of Ormonde was born after 1421.2 He was the son of James Butler, 4th Earl of Ormonde and Joan Beauchamp.2 He married, firstly, Anne Hankeford, daughter of Sir Richard Hankeford and Lady Anne de Montagu, before 11 July 1445.2 He married, secondly, Lora Berkeley, daughter of Sir Edward Berkeley, before November 1496.3 He died on 3 August 1515, without male issue.3
He fought in the Battle of Tewkesbury on 4 May 1471, where he was captured by the Yorkists.2 On 21 August 1471 he was subject to a general pardon.2 In 1472 he had a partial reversal of his attainder.2 He succeeded as the 7th Earl of Ormonde [I., 1328] in 1478.1 He was appointed Knight, Order of the Bath (K.B.) in 1483.2 In November 1485 he had a full reversal of his attainder.2 He was appointed Privy Counsellor (P.C.) in 1486.2 He was created 1st Lord Ormond [England by writ] on 13 January 1488/89.2 He held the office of Ambassador to Burgundy in 1497.2 On his death the Barony of Ormond fell into abeyance between his daughters.3
