William Villiers, 3rd Earl of the Island of Jersey was the son of William Villiers, 2nd Earl of the Island of Jersey and Judith Herne.2 He married Lady Anne Egerton, daughter of Scroop Egerton, 1st Duke of Bridgwater and Lady Elizabeth Churchill, on 23 June 1733 at St. James's, Westminster, London, EnglandG.1 He died on 28 August 1769.1
He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, EnglandG.2 He succeeded as the 3rd Baron Villiers of Hoo, co. Kent [E., 1691] on 13 July 1721.3 He succeeded as the 3rd Earl of the Island of Jersey [E., 1697] on 13 July 1721.3 He succeeded as the 3rd Viscount Villiers of Dartford, co. Kent [E., 1691] on 13 July 1721.3 He was appointed Privy Counsellor (P.C.) in 1747.2 He succeeded as the 6th Viscount Grandison of Limerick co. Leitrim [I., 1621] on 14 May 1766.2

Percy Desmond FitzGerald was born on 18 April 1873.1 He was the son of Nicholas FitzGerald and Marianne O'Shanassy.2,1 He married Lady Millicent Fanny St. Clair-Erskine, daughter of Robert Francis St. Clair-Erskine, 4th Earl of Rosslyn and Blanche Adeliza Fitzroy, on 17 October 1914.1 He died on 17 August 1933 at age 60, without issue.1
He was educated at Oscott College, Sutton Coldfield, Warwickshire, EnglandG.1 He fought in the Boer War between 1899 and 1900, where he was mentioned in despatches four times.1 He was awarded the Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.) in 1901.1 He fought in the First World War, where he was mentioned in despatches.1 He gained the rank of Brigadier-General in the 11th Hussars.1 He was awarded the Officer, Legion d'Honneur.1 His marriage to Lady Millicent Fanny St. Clair-Erskine was annulled in 1919.1
