He was created 1st Baronet Willoughby, of Risley, co. Derby [England] in 1611.1 On his death, his baronetcy bexame extinct.

Sir Thomas Aston, 3rd Bt. was born on 17 January 1665/66.1 He was the son of Sir Willoughby Aston, 2nd Bt. and Mary Offley.1 He and Catharine Widdrington obtained a marriage license on 22 October 1703.1 He died on 16 January 1724/25 at age 58.1 His will (dated 6 February 1723/4) was proven (by probate) on 8 December 1725.1 He was buried at Aston, Cheshire, EnglandG.1
He succeeded as the 3rd Baronet Aston, of Aston [in the parish of Runcorn], co. Chester [E., 1628] on 14 December 1702.1 He held the office of Sheriff of Cheshire in 1723.1

Catharine Widdrington was born in November 1676.1 She was the daughter of William Widdrington.1 She and Sir Thomas Aston, 3rd Bt. obtained a marriage license on 22 October 1703.1 She died on 10 April 1752 at age 75.1 She was buried at Aston, Cheshire, EnglandG.1 Her will was proven (by probate) in May 1752.1
From 22 October 1703, her married name became Aston.1
