Colonel Charles Bagot was born on 20 May 1808.1 He was the son of Rt. Hon. Sir Charles Bagot and Lady Mary Charlotte Anne Wellesley-Pole.1 He married Sophia Louisa Percy, daughter of Vice-Admiral Hon. Josceline Percy and Sophia Elizabeth Walhouse, on 7 July 1846.1 He died on 25 February 1881 at age 72.1
He gained the rank of Colonel in the Grenadier Guards.1 He gained the rank of Colonel in the 3rd Battalion, King's Own Scottish Borderers.1 He held the office of Assistant Master of Ceremonies to HM Queen Victoria.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Staffordshire.1
