Lt. Hon. George St. Lawrence Neuflize Ponsonby was born on 14 August 1931.1 He was the son of Vere Brabazon Ponsonby, 9th Earl of Bessborough and Roberte de Neuflize.1 He died on 16 May 1951 at age 19 at GermanyG, as the result of a traffic accident, while on military duty.1
He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the 9th Lancers.1

Hon. Bertie Brabazon Ponsonby was born on 10 February 1885.1 He was the son of Edward Ponsonby, 8th Earl of Bessborough and Blanche Vere Guest.1 He married Constance Evelyn Meyer, daughter of Rev. Canon Horace Rollo Meyer, on 7 February 1933.1 He died on 24 June 1967 at age 82, without issue.1
He was educated at Harrow School, Harrow, London, EnglandG.1 He was educated in 1907 at Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, EnglandG, Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)1 He was admitted to Inner Temple in 1909 entitled to practise as a Barrister-at-Law.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the Grenadier Guards.1 He fought in the First World War between 1914 and 1916, where he was wounded.1 He gained the rank of Captain in the Royal Buckinghamshire Hussars.1

Lady Olwen Verena Ponsonby was born on 9 September 1876.1 She was the daughter of Edward Ponsonby, 8th Earl of Bessborough and Blanche Vere Guest.1 She married Geoffrey Henry Browne, 1st Baron Mereworth, son of Geoffrey Dominick Augustus Frederick Guthrie, 2nd Baron Oranmore and Browne and Christina Guthrie, on 2 January 1901.1 She died on 7 June 1927 at age 50, killed in a car crash.1
She was appointed Lady of Grace, Order of St. John of Jerusalem (L.G.St.J.)1 From 2 January 1901, her married name became Browne.1 After her marriage, Lady Olwen Verena Ponsonby was styled as Baroness Oranmore and Browne on 2 January 1901. After her marriage, Lady Olwen Verena Ponsonby was styled as Baroness Mereworth on 19 January 1926.
