From 29 August 1908, her married name became Cooke.1

Thomas Fitzpatrick Cooke was born on 10 July 1911.1 He was the son of Thomas Fitzpatrick Cooke and Aileen Frances Babington.1 He married Ruth Babington, daughter of Rt. Hon. Sir Anthony Brutus Babington and Ethel Vaughan Hart, on 3 July 1946.2 He died in 1994.3
He was educated at Stowe School, Buckingham, Buckinghamshire, EnglandG.2 He was educated at Trinity College, Dublin University, Dublin, County Dublin, IrelandG.2 He gained the rank of Captain in the Royal Artillery.2 He fought in the Second World War.2 He was awarded the Territorial Decoration (T.D.)2 He held the office of High Sheriff of County Londonderry in 1949.2 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of County Londonderry in 1950.2 He was director of John Christy Ltd, George McFarland & Company Ltd, William Austin & Company Ltd and Commercial Insurance Company of Ireland Ltd.2 He held the office of High Sheriff of Londonderry City in 1971.2 He lived at Caw House, Londonderry, County Londonderry, IrelandG.2 He held the office of Lord-Lieutenant of County Londonderry in 1975.2
