Maurice Arthur Liddell was born on 12 September 1905.2 He was the son of Sir Frederick Francis Liddell and Mabel Alice Magniac.2 He married Alix Kerr, daughter of Admiral Mark Edward Frederick Kerr and Rose Margaret Gough, on 28 July 1937.2 He died on 16 May 1976 at age 70.2
He was educated at Marlborough College, Marlborough, Wiltshire, England.2 He graduated from Christ Church, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, in 1927 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)2 He was admitted to Lincoln's Inn in 1930 entitled to practise as a barrister.2 He was partner of Dyson Bell & Company, Parliamentary Agents.2 He gained the rank of Flight Lieutenant in the Royal Air Force Volunteer Reserve.2 He fought in the Second World War between 1939 and 1943, when he was invalided.2 He was appointed Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.) in 1969.2

Ronald William Kerr was born on 24 May 1906.1 He was the son of Colonel Frederick Walter Kerr and Lady Helen Victoria Lilian Kerr.1 He married Barbara Helen Crawford, daughter of Charles John Crawford, on 15 November 1939.1 He died on 29 May 1972 at age 66.1
