Lt.-Col. Lord Henry Cavendish-Bentinck was born on 28 May 1863.1 He was the son of Lt.-Gen. Arthur Cavendish-Bentinck and Augusta Mary Elizabeth Browne, 1st Baroness Bolsover.1 He married Lady Olivia Caroline Amelia Taylour, daughter of Thomas Taylour, Earl of Bective and Lady Alice Maria Hill, on 27 January 1892.2 He died on 6 October 1931 at age 68, without issue.1
He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, EnglandG.1 On 23 February 1880 he was granted the rank of a duke's younger son.1 He was educated at Christ Church, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, EnglandG.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) (Conservative) for Nottingham South between 1886 and 1892.1 He fought in the Boer War between 1899 and 1900.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Westmorland.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the Derbyshire Yeomanry.1 He was awarded the Territorial Award (T.D.)1 He held the office of Member of the London County Council between 1907 and 1910.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) Major Lord William Augustus Cavendish-Bentinck was born on 31 January 1865.1 He was the son of Lt.-Gen. Arthur Cavendish-Bentinck and Augusta Mary Elizabeth Browne, 1st Baroness Bolsover.1 He died on 4 November 1903 at age 38, unmarried.1
On 23 February 1880 he was granted the rank of a duke's younger son.2 He gained the rank of Major in the 10th Hussars.1 He fought in the Boer War between 1899 and 1900.1

Lt.-Col. Lord Charles Cavendish-Bentinck was born on 7 October 1868.1 He was the son of Lt.-Gen. Arthur Cavendish-Bentinck and Augusta Mary Elizabeth Browne, 1st Baroness Bolsover.1 He married Cecily Mary Grenfell, daughter of Charles Seymour Grenfell and Elizabeth Graham, on 27 February 1897.1 He was also reported to have been married on 26 February 1897.2 He died on 19 June 1956 at age 87.1
He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, EnglandG.1 On 23 February 1880 he was granted the rank of a duke's younger son.3 He fought in the Boer War between 1899 and 1900, where he was mentioned in despatches and was wounded.1 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Nottinghamshire.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Nottinghamshire.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel.1 He fought in the First World War, where he was mentioned in despatches three times and was wounded.1 He gained the rank of Assistant Adjutant-General in 1915 in the British Expeditionary Force.1 He was awarded the Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.) in 1916.1

Thomas Taylour, Earl of Bective was born on 11 February 1844.2 He was the son of Thomas Taylour, 3rd Marquess of Headfort and Amelia Thompson.2 He married Lady Alice Maria Hill, daughter of Arthur Wills Blundell Sandys Trumbull Windsor Hill, 4th Marquess of Downshire and Hon. Caroline Frances Stapleton-Cotton, on 9 October 1867.1 He died on 15 December 1893 at age 49.1

Cecily Mary Grenfell was the daughter of Charles Seymour Grenfell and Elizabeth Graham.1,2 She married Lt.-Col. Lord Charles Cavendish-Bentinck, son of Lt.-Gen. Arthur Cavendish-Bentinck and Augusta Mary Elizabeth Browne, 1st Baroness Bolsover, on 27 February 1897.1 She was also reported to have been married on 26 February 1897.2 She died on 30 January 1936.1
Her married name became Cavendish-Bentinck. She was appointed Dame of Grace, Most Venerable Order of the Hospital of St. John of Jerusalem (D.G.St.J.)1
