Elizabeth Langley Barbour is the daughter of Major Robert Barbour.2 She married, firstly, Captain Joseph Gurney Fowell Buxton, son of Henry Fowell Buxton and Katharine Tayspel Round, on 22 April 1938.1 She married, secondly, Alexander Ludovic Grant, son of John Peter Grant, 13th of Rothiemurchus and Edith Mary Brewster-Macpherson, on 9 April 1946.1
Tattenhall.1 From 22 April 1938, her married name became Buxton. From 9 April 1946, her married name became Grant.1
