George Clive was born in October 1803.3 He was the son of Edward Bolton Clive and Hon. Harriet Archer.4 He married Ann Sybella Martha Farquhar, daughter of Sir Thomas Harvie Farquhar, 2nd Bt. and Sybella Martha Rockcliffe, on 2 May 1835.3 He died on 8 June 1880 at age 76.3
