Henry Danvers, 1st and last Earl of Danby was born on 28 June 1573 at Dauntsey, Wiltshire, England. He was the son of Sir John Danvers and Elizabeth Neville.1,3 He died on 20 January 1644 at age 70 at Cornbury Park, Oxfordshire, England, unmarried.
He was Sergeant-Major General of the Army in ireland in 1602. He was created 1st Baron Danvers of Dauntsey, co. Wilts [England] on 21 July 1603. He held the office of Lord President of Munster between 1607 and 1615. He held the office of Governor of the Isle of Guernsey between 1621 and 1644. He was created 1st Earl of Danby [England] on 5 February 1626. He was appointed Privy Counsellor (P.C.) in 1628. He was appointed Knight, Order of the Garter (K.G.) in 1633.

Sir Rochester Carr, 5th Bt.1

Sir Rochester Carr, 5th Bt. was the son of Sir Edward Carr, 1st Bt. and Anne Dyer.1 He died after 1695 at Chancery Lane, London, EnglandG, unmarried.1 He died intestate and his estate was administered to Elizabeth Carr Fox, his great-niece on 7 May 1695.1
In 1637 he was found to be a lunatic.1 He succeeded as the 5th Baronet Carr, of Sleford, co. Lincoln [E., 1611] on 28 December 1683.1
On his death, his baronetcy became extinct.1

Elizabeth Dumarque married Helier de Carteret, son of Sir Philip de Carteret, Seigneur de St. Owen, in 1608.1
From 1608, her married name became de Carteret.1

Elizabeth Carteret1

Elizabeth Carteret was the daughter of Sir Philip Carteret, Seigneur de St. Owen and Anne Dowse.1 She married Sir George Carteret, 1st Bt., son of Helier de Carteret and Elizabeth Dumarque.1 She died before February 1700.1 Her will was proven (by probate) in February 1700.1
On 14 February 1680 she is said to have been granted precendece of a peer's widow, due to the peerage about to be conferred on her husband.1
