Andrew Yule Catto, son of William Catto and Isabella Yule, on 18 November 1922.1 She died on 10 January 1955 at Littlehampton, Sussex, England.2
From before 1922, her married name became Nesling.1 From 18 November 1922, her married name became Catto.

Thomas Sivewright Catto, 1st Baron Catto was born on 15 March 1879.1 He was the son of William Catto and Isabella Yule.2 He married Gladys Forbes Gordon, daughter of Stephen Gordon and Ida Olivia Rees, on 20 October 1910.1 He died on 23 August 1959 at age 80.1
He was educated between 1886 and 1889 at Peterhead Academy, Peterhead, Aberdeenshire, ScotlandG.3 He was educated between 1890 and 1895 at Rutherford College, Newcastle-upon-Tyne, Northumberland, EnglandG.3 He was British Admiralty Representative on the Russian Commission to the USA in 1915.1 He was appointed Commander, Order of the British Empire (C.B.E.) in 1918.1 He was head of the British Food Mission to the USA and Canada between 1918 and 1919.1 He was awarded the Order of Leopold of Belgium in 1919.1 He was awarded the honorary degree of Doctor of Law (LL.D.)1 He was created 1st Baronet Catto, of Cairncatto, co. Aberdeen [U.K.] on 5 July 1921.1 He was member of the Indian Government Retrenchment Committee (Inchcape Committee) between 1922 and 1923.1 He was member of the British Government Committee on Coal Selling in 1926.1 He was appointed Officer, Most Venerable Order of the Hospital of St. John of Jerusalem (O.St.J.)1 He was created 1st Baron Catto, of Cairncatto, co. Aberdeen [U.K.] on 24 February 1936.1 He was Director of the General Equipment and Stores and member of the Supply Council in 1940.1 He was Financial Advisor to the Chancellor of the Exchequer between 1940 and 1944.1 He held the office of Governor of the Bank of England between 1944 and 1949.1 He was appointed Privy Counsellor (P.C.) in 1947.1 He has an extensive biographical entry in the Dictionary of National Biography.4
