John Selwyn Gummer, Baron Deben was born on 26 November 1939.1 He is the son of Rev. Canon Selwyn Gummer and Margaret Sybille Vera Mason.1 He married Penelope Jane Gardner, daughter of John P. Gardner, in 1977.1

From 25 June 1935, her married name became Wyatt. From 10 October 1959, her married name became Munro.

Brigadier Wilfred Penfold Wyatt was the son of Gerald Wyatt.2 He married Mary Cayzer, daughter of Major Harold Stanley Cayzer and Mary Kate Dudgeon, on 25 June 1935.1 He and Mary Cayzer were divorced in 1959.1 He died on 9 March 1966.1
He gained the rank of Brigadier in the 17th/21st Lancers.1

John Prendergast Vereker and Louisa Medlicott, on 15 November 1892.1 She and Major John Medlicott Vereker were divorced in 1914.1 She married, secondly, Robert Lachlan McGlashan on 30 September 1915.1 She married, thirdly, Captain Ernest Douglas Black on 15 October 1917.1 She died on 15 May 1930.1
From 15 November 1892, her married name became Vereker.1 From 30 September 1915, her married name became McGlashan. Her marriage to Robert Lachlan McGlashan was annulled in 1916.1 From 15 October 1917, her married name became Black.

John Prendergast Vereker and Louisa Medlicott.2 He married Mary Agnes Cayzer, daughter of Sir Charles William Cayzer, 1st Bt. and Agnes Elizabeth Trickey, on 15 November 1892.1 He and Mary Agnes Cayzer were divorced in 1914.1 He died on 1 November 1940 at age 77.2
He fought in the Nile Expedition between 1884 and 1885.2 He gained the rank of in the 4th Dragoon Guards.2 He gained the rank of Adjutant in the Imperial Yeomanry.2 He was with the Railway Transport Staff, Southern Command.2 He fought in the Boer War between 1900 and 1901.2
