Sir George Jeremy ffolliott Chance, 4th Bt. was born on 24 February 1926.1 He was the son of Sir Roger James Ferguson Chance, 3rd Bt. and Mary Georgina Rowney.2 He married Cecilia Mary Elizabeth Chance, daughter of Sir William Hugh Stobart Chance and Cynthia May Baker-Cresswell, on 4 March 1950.1 He died on 24 December 2017 at age 91.3

Sir William Hugh Stobart Chance was born on 31 December 1896.2 He was the son of George Ferguson Chance and Mary Kathleen Stobart.2 He married, firstly, Cynthia May Baker-Cresswell, daughter of Major Addison Francis Baker-Cresswell and Idonea Widdrington, on 20 April 1926.2 He and Cynthia May Baker-Cresswell were divorced in 1961.2 He married, secondly, Rachel Cameron, daughter of Lieutenant Cyril Henry Cameron, on 3 February 1961.2 He died in 1981.2
