Robert Cuninghame, 2nd Earl of Glencairn1

Robert Cuninghame, 2nd Earl of Glencairn was the son of Alexander Cuninghame, 1st Earl of Glencairn and Margaret Hepburn.2 He married Christian Lindsay, daughter of John Lindsay, 1st Lord Lindsay of the Byres and Agnes Stewart, before 19 July 1476.1 He died circa 1490.2
He succeeded as the 2nd Lord Kilmaurs [S., 1464] in June 1488.2 He succeeded as the 2nd Earl of Glencairn [S., 1488] in June 1488.2 On 17 October 1488 he was stripped of the Earldom of Glencairn by Act of Parliament (the rebel party was then in power.)2

Alexander Cuninghame, 1st Earl of Glencairn1

Alexander Cuninghame, 1st Earl of Glencairn was born after 1425.1 He was the son of Sir Robert Cuninghame of Kilmaurs and Anne Montgomerie.2 He married Margaret Hepburn, daughter of Sir Adam Hepburn of Hailes and Janet Borthwick.1 He died on 11 June 1488 at Sauchieburn, Aberdeenshire, ScotlandG, killed in action.1
He was created 1st Lord Kilmaurs [Scotland] from 8 February 1462/63 to 13 January 1463/64.1 He fought in the Battle of Blackness, where he crushed an uprising against King James III.1 He was created 1st Earl of Glencairn [Scotland] on 28 May 1488.1 He fought in the Battle of Sauchieburn on 11 June 1488.1 He has an extensive biographical entry in the Dictionary of Nationary Biography.3

Charles Arran Gore1

Charles Arran Gore was born on 30 December 1864 at New Delhi, India.1,2 He was the son of Major James Arthur Charles Gore and Catherine Louise Bazalgette.1 He was baptised on 9 September 1865 at St. Peter's, Bayswater, London, England.2 He married Emily Ann Nichols on 8 December 1888 at Carrington Hotel, Wagga Wagga, New South Wales, Australia.2 He died on 4 April 1922 at age 57 at Kogarah, New South Wales, Australia, by suicide, jumping in front of a funeral train.2
He was Ordinary Constable between 1 October 1886 and 31 July 1887.2
