Ralph Hopton, 1st Baron Hopton of Stratton was born in 1596. He was the son of Robert Hopton and Jane Kemeys.1,3 He died in 1652.
He gained the title of 1st Baron Hopton of Stratton. He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Bath in 1625. He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Wells in 1628. He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Somerset. He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Dorset. He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Somerset in 1640. A celebrated royalist commander in the West Country during the Civil War.4

Sir Capell Luckyn, 2nd Bt. was born circa 1621.1 He was the son of Sir William Luckyn, 1st Bt. and Mildred Capell.1,2 He married Mary Grimston, daughter of Sir Harbottle Grimston, 2nd Bt. and Mary Croke, on 20 January 1647/48 at Hackney, London, EnglandG.1 He died circa 1680.1
He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Luckyn, of Little Waltham, co. Essex [E., 1629] circa 1660.1 He lived at Messing Hall, Essex, England.3
