Sir Morton Edward Manningham-Buller, 2nd Bt.1

Sir Morton Edward Manningham-Buller, 2nd Bt. was born on 31 May 1825.2 He was the son of Sir Edward Manningham-Buller, 1st Bt. and Mary Anne Manningham.2 He married Mary Davenport, daughter of William Davenport, on 12 February 1863.2 He died on 27 April 1910 at age 84.2
He was given the name of Morton Edward Buller-Yarde-Buller at birth. He graduated from Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, EnglandG, with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)2 In 1866 his name was legally changed to Morton Edward Manningham-Buller. He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Manningham-Buller, of Dilhorne Hall, Staffs [U.K., 1866] on 22 September 1882.2 He gained the rank of Honorary Colonel in the 3rd Battalion, Prince of Wales' North Staffordshire Regiment.2 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Staffordshire.2 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Staffordshire.2

Lilian Manningham-Buller was born on 14 February 1874.2 She was the daughter of Sir Morton Edward Manningham-Buller, 2nd Bt. and Mary Davenport.2 She married Charles Edward Stuart Cockburn, son of Colonel George William Cockburn and Emily Sarah Cleugh, on 8 August 1894.1 She died on 23 November 1943 at age 69.1
From 8 August 1894, her married name became Cockburn.1
