Matthew Ancketill1

Matthew Ancketill was born in 1651.1 He was the son of Captain Oliver Ancketill and Rebecca Bullingbrooke.1 He married Matilda Moore, daughter of Robert Moore, in 1672.1 He died on 13 March 1688, killed in action.1
He held the office of High Sheriff in 1682.1 He was attainted by King James II.1 He lived at Anketell Grove, County Monaghan, IrelandG, (which estate was confirmed by patent 19 Charles II.)1 He fought in the Battle of Drumbanagher on 13 March 1688.1
