Torquhil Ian Campbell, 13th Duke of Argyll was born on 29 May 1968.1 He is the son of Ian Campbell, 12th Duke of Argyll and Iona Mary Colquhoun.1 He married Eleanor Cadbury, daughter of Peter Hugh George Cadbury and Sally Strouvelle, on 8 June 2002 at St. Mary's Church, Fairford, Gloucestershire, EnglandG.3,4
He was styled as Marquess of Lorne between 1968 and 2001.1 He was educated at Glenalmond College, Perthshire, ScotlandG.1 He held the office of Page of Honour to HM Queen Elizabeth II between 1981 and 1983.5 He was educated at McGill University, Montreal, Quebec, CanadaG.1 He succeeded as the 10th Baron Hamilton of Hameldon, co. Irene Clare Kennedy was born on 1 March 1882.1 She was the daughter of Lt.-Col. Lord Alexander Kennedy and Beatrice Gordon.1 She married John Bell on 6 December 1906.1 She died on 9 February 1969 at age 86.1
