Emily Maria Goodden was the daughter of John Goodden.1 She married, firstly, Arthur Paulet Butler, son of Hon. Sir Edward Butler and Urania Elizabeth Paulet, on 6 October 1870.1 She married, secondly, Sir Henry Bernard Samuelson, 2nd Bt., son of Sir Bernhard Samuelson, 1st Bt. and Caroline Blundell, on 7 July 1874.1 She died on 5 July 1930.1
From 6 October 1870, her married name became Butler. From 7 July 1874, her married name became Samuelson.
