Sir John Shelley Sidney, 1st Bt. was born on 18 December 1771.1 He was the son of Sir Bysshe Shelley, 1st Bt. and Elizabeth Jane Perry.1 He married Henrietta Hunloke, daughter of Sir Henry Hunloke, 4th Bt. and Margaret Coke, on 29 April 1799.1 He died on 14 March 1849 at age 77.1
He was given the name of John Shelley at birth.1 In 1793 his name was legally changed to John Shelley Sidney by Sign Manual.1 He was created 1st Baronet Shelley Sidney, of Penshurst Place, co. Kent [U.K.] on 12 December 1818.1

Captain Gerald John Ponsonby, 6th Baron de Mauley of Canford was born on 19 December 1921.1 He was the son of Hubert William Ponsonby, 5th Baron de Mauley of Canford and Elgiva Margaret Dundas.1 He married Helen Alice Douglas, daughter of Hon. Charles William Sholto Douglas and Alice Agnes Fox-Pitt, on 16 November 1954.1 He died on 17 October 2002 at age 80, without issue.1
He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, EnglandG.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the Leicestershire Yeomanry.1 He gained the rank of Captain in the Royal Artillery.1 He fought in the Second World War, where he was wounded.1 He graduated from Christ Church, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, EnglandG, in 1941 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)1 He graduated from Christ Church, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, EnglandG, in 1947 with a Master of Arts (M.A.)1 He was admitted to Middle Temple in 1949 entitled to practise as a barrister.1 He was created 6th Baron de Mauley of Canford, co. Dorset [U.K., 1838] on 13 September 1962.1

Hon. June Mary Ponsonby was born on 9 March 1924.1 She was the daughter of Hubert William Ponsonby, 5th Baron de Mauley of Canford and Elgiva Margaret Dundas.1 She married Robert Walter Sigismund Grimston, 2nd Baron Grimston of Westbury, son of Robert Villiers Grimston, 1st Baron Grimston of Westbury and Sybil Rose Neumann, on 21 June 1949.1 She died on 18 March 2010 at age 86.2
From 21 June 1949, her married name became Grimston.1 After her marriage, Hon. June Mary Ponsonby was styled as Baroness Grimston of Westbury on 8 December 1979. She lived in 2003 at The Old Rectory, Westwell, Burford, Oxfordshire, EnglandG.1
