Henry Agar1

Henry Agar was the son of James Agar and Mary Wemyss.2 He married Anne Ellis, daughter of Rt. Rev. Welbore Ellis, on 29 May 1733.3 He died on 18 November 1746.1
He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Gowran [Ireland] in 1727.4 He lived at Gowran Castle, County Kilkenny, IrelandG.1

Anne Ellis was the daughter of Rt. Rev. Welbore Ellis.1 She married, secondly, George Dunbar.2 She married, firstly, Henry Agar, son of James Agar and Mary Wemyss, on 29 May 1733.3 She died on 14 April 1761.2
Her married name became Dunbar.2 Her married name became Agar.

Charles Agar, 1st Earl of Normanton was born on 22 December 1736.1 He was the son of Henry Agar and Anne Ellis.1 He married Jane Benson, daughter of William Benson, on 22 November 1776.1 He died on 14 July 1809 at age 72.1
He was educated at Westminster School, London, England.1 He was educated at Christ Church, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England.1 He was Chaplain to the Lord-Lieutenant of Ireland in 1763.1 He held the office of Bishop of Cloyne in 1768.1 He held the office of Dean of Kilmore.1 He was created 1st Baron Somerton of Somerton, co. Kilkenny [Ireland] on 12 June 1795.1 He was created 1st Viscount Somerton [Ireland] on 29 December 1800.1 He held the office of Archbishop of Dublin in 1801.1 He was created 1st Earl of Normanton, co. Jane Benson1

Jane Benson was born in 1752.2 She was the daughter of William Benson.1 She married Charles Agar, 1st Earl of Normanton, son of Henry Agar and Anne Ellis, on 22 November 1776.1 She died on 25 October 1826.1
Her married name became Agar. After her marriage, Jane Benson was styled as Viscountess Somerton on 29 December 1800. After her marriage, Jane Benson was styled as Countess of Normanton on 4 February 1806.

Thomas Ralph Maude, 2nd Viscount Hawarden

Thomas Ralph Maude, 2nd Viscount Hawarden was born on 16 April 1767.1 He was the son of Cornwallis Maude, 1st Viscount Hawarden and Mary Allen.2 He married Lady Frances Anne Agar, daughter of Charles Agar, 1st Earl of Normanton and Jane Benson, on 14 December 1798.1 He died on 26 February 1807 at age 39, without issue.1
He succeeded as the 4th Baronet Maude [I., 1705] on 23 August 1803.1 He succeeded as the 2nd Viscount Hawarden, of Hawarden, co. Tipperary [I., 1793] on 23 August 1803.1 He succeeded as the 2nd Baron de Montalt of Hawarden, co. Tipperary [I., 1785] on 23 August 1803.1
