Roger North, 2nd Baron North was born on 27 February 1530/31.3 He was the son of Edward North, 1st Baron North and Alice Squire.4 He married Winifred Rich, daughter of Richard Rich, 1st Baron Rich and Elizabeth Jenks.3 He died on 3 December 1600 at age 69.3

Winifred Rich was the daughter of Richard Rich, 1st Baron Rich and Elizabeth Jenks.1 She married, secondly, Roger North, 2nd Baron North, son of Edward North, 1st Baron North and Alice Squire.2 She married, firstly, Sir Henry Dudley, son of John Dudley, 1st Duke of Northumberland and Jane Guilford.2 She died after November 1578.3,4
She was also known as Winifride Rich.1 Her married name became North. Her married name became Dudley.2

Francis North, 2nd Baron Guilford was born on 14 December 1673.3 He was the son of Francis North, 1st Baron Guilford and Lady Frances Pope.3 He married, firstly, Hon. Elizabeth Greville, daughter of Fulke Greville, 5th Baron Brooke of Beauchamps Court and Sarah Dashwood, on 25 February 1694/95.3 He married, secondly, Alicia Brownlow, daughter of Sir John Brownlow, 3rd Bt. and Alice Sherard, circa 8 July 1703.1 He died on 17 October 1729 at age 55.3
He was educated at Winchester College, Winchester, Hampshire, EnglandG.3 He succeeded as the 2nd Baron Guilford, co. Surrey [E., 1683] on 5 September 1685.3 He was educated at Trinity College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, EnglandG.3 He held the office of Lord-Lieutenant of Essex between 1703 and 1705.3 He was appointed Privy Counsellor (P.C.) in 1712.3 He held the office of a Lord of Trade from 1712 to 1713.3 He held the office of First Lord of Trade from 1713 to 1714.3
