Sir William Barker, 4th Bt.1

Sir William Barker, 4th Bt. was the son of Sir William Barker, 3rd Bt. and Mary Quin.1 He and Catharine Lane obtained a marriage license on 23 January 1760.1 He died on 22 October 1818, without issue.1 His will was proven (by probate) in November 1818.1
He held the office of Sheriff of County Tipperary in 1764.1 He succeeded as the 4th Baronet Barker, of Bockinghall [in Bocking], co. Essex [E., 1676] on 20 March 1770.1 He lived at Kilcooley Abbey, Kilcooley, County Tipperary, IrelandG.1
On his death, his baronetcy became extinct.1

Sir Robert Staples, 4th Bt. was born in May 1643 at Lissan, County Tyrone, IrelandG.2 He was the son of Sir Thomas Staples, 1st Bt. and Charity Jones.3 He was baptised on 9 May 1643 at Derry Cathedral, Templemore, County Londonderry, IrelandG.2 He married Mary Vesey, daughter of Most Rev. John Vesey and Rebecca Wilson, on 13 March 1681/82 at Abbey-Leix, County Laois, IrelandG.1,2 He died on 21 November 1714 at age 71 at Lissan, County Tyrone, IrelandG.3,2
He succeeded as the 4th Baronet Staples, of Lissan, co. Tyrone and Faghanvale, co. Londonderry [I., 1628] circa March 1672/73.3 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Dungannon in 1692.3 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Clogher in 1695.3 He held the office of High Sheriff of County Tyrone in 1703.3

Chambré Brabazon Ponsonby-Barker1

Chambré Brabazon Ponsonby-Barker was born on 12 June 1762.1 He was the son of Chambré Brabazon Ponsonby and Mary Barker.1 He married Lady Henrietta Taylour, daughter of Thomas Taylour, 1st Earl of Bective and Hon. Jane Rowley, on 4 June 1791.1 He died on 13 December 1834 at age 72.
He was given the name of Chambré Brabazon Ponsonby at birth.2 In 1818 his name was legally changed to Chambré Brabazon Ponsonby-Barker after inheriting the estate of Kilcooley.2 He lived at Kilcooley Abbey, Urlingford, County Kilkenny, IrelandG.3

Lady Henrietta Taylour was the daughter of Thomas Taylour, 1st Earl of Bective and Hon. Jane Rowley.1 She married Chambré Brabazon Ponsonby-Barker, son of Chambré Brabazon Ponsonby and Mary Barker, on 4 June 1791.1 She died on 12 January 1838.1
From 4 June 1791, her married name became Ponsonby. From 1818, her married name became Ponsonby-Barker.

Thomas Taylour, 1st Earl of Bective was born on 20 October 1724.2 He was the son of Sir Thomas Taylor, 2nd Bt. and Sarah Graham.3 He married Hon. Jane Rowley, daughter of Rt. Hon. Hercules Langford Rowley and Elizabeth Ormsby Upton, Viscountess Langford of Langford Lodge, on 4 July 1754.2 He died on 14 February 1795 at age 70.1
He was educated at Trinity College, Dublin University, Dublin, County Dublin, IrelandG.2 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Kells between 1747 and 1760.2 He succeeded as the 3rd Baronet Taylor, of Kells, co. Meath [I., 1704] in October 1757.3 He was created 1st Baron Headfort, of Headfort, co. Meath [Ireland] on 6 September 1760.2 He was created 1st Viscount Headfort, of Headfort, co. Meath [Ireland] on 12 April 1762.2 He was created 1st Earl of Bective, of Bective Castle, co. Meath [Ireland] on 24 October 1766.1 He was appointed Knight, Order of St. Patrick (K.P.) in 1783.2 He was appointed Privy Counsellor (P.C.) [Ireland] in 1785.2

Hon. Jane Rowley was born in 1730.2 She was the daughter of Rt. Hon. Hercules Langford Rowley and Elizabeth Ormsby Upton, Viscountess Langford of Langford Lodge.3 She married Thomas Taylour, 1st Earl of Bective, son of Sir Thomas Taylor, 2nd Bt. and Sarah Graham, on 4 July 1754.1 She died in July 1818 at Ireland.2
Her married name became Taylour. After her marriage, Hon. Jane Rowley was styled as Countess of Headfort on 6 September 1760. After her marriage, Hon.
