Lord Marcus Talbot de la Poer Beresford was born on 25 December 1848.2 He was the son of John de la Poer Beresford, 4th Marquess of Waterford and Christiana Leslie.2 He married Louisa Catherine Ridley, daughter of Maj.-Gen. Charles William Ridley and Hon. Henrietta Araminta Monck Browne, on 28 August 1895.1 He died on 16 December 1922 at age 73.2
He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the 7th Hussars.2 He held the office of Extra Equerry to HRH The Prince of Wales between 1890 and 1901.2 He held the office of Extra Equerry to HM King Edward VII between 1901 and 1910.2 He held the office of Extra Equerry to HM King George V between 1910 and 1922.2 He was appointed Knight Commander, Royal Victorian Order (K.C.V.O.) in 1918.2

Louisa Catherine Ridley1

Louisa Catherine Ridley was the daughter of Maj.-Gen. Charles William Ridley and Hon. Henrietta Araminta Monck Browne.1,2 She married, firstly, Henry Bloomfield Kingscote, son of Colonel Thomas Henry Kingscote and Hon. Harriott Mary Anne Bloomfield, on 31 March 1870.1 She and Henry Bloomfield Kingscote were divorced in 1871.1 She married, secondly, Charles Francis Buller on 11 July 1873.2 She married, thirdly, Lord Marcus Talbot de la Poer Beresford, son of John de la Poer Beresford, 4th Marquess of Waterford and Christiana Leslie, on 28 August 1895.2 She died on 1 October 1920.2
From 31 March 1870, her married name became Kingscote. From 11 July 1873, her married name became Buller. From 28 August 1895, her married name became Beresford.

Henry Bloomfield Kingscote was born on 28 February 1843.1 He was the son of Colonel Thomas Henry Kingscote and Hon. Harriott Mary Anne Bloomfield.1 He married, firstly, Louisa Catherine Ridley, daughter of Maj.-Gen. Charles William Ridley and Hon. Henrietta Araminta Monck Browne, on 31 March 1870.1 He and Louisa Catherine Ridley were divorced in 1871.1 He married, secondly, Mary Hamilton, daughter of John Hamilton, on 20 April 1880 at Marylebone, London, EnglandG.1 He married, thirdly, Ella Burnett Haig, daughter of Henry Haig, on 23 June 1899.1 He died on 1 August 1915 at age 72.1
He gained the rank of Captain in the Royal Horse Artillery.1
