Sir Edward Turner, 2nd Bt. was born on 28 April 1719.3 He was the son of Sir Edward Turner, 1st Bt. and Mary Page.3 He married Cassandra Leigh, daughter of William Leigh and Mary Lord, on 8 September 1739.1 He died on 31 October 1766 at age 47.3
He graduated from Balliol College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, EnglandG, in 1735 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)3 He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Turner, of Ambrosden, co. Oxford [G.B., 1733] on 19 June 1735.1 He graduated from Balliol College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, EnglandG, in 1738 with a Master of Arts (M.A.)3 He was admitted to Lincoln's Inn.3 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Great Bedwin between 1741 and 1747.3 He was awarded the honorary degree of Doctor of Civil Law (D.C.L.) by Balliol College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, EnglandG, in 1744.3 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Oxford in 1754.3 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Penrhyn between 1761 and 1766.3
