John Roberts1

John Roberts was born on 3 May 1921.2 He was the son of Joseph Henry Nicholson Roberts and Frances Eleanor Partington.2 He married, firstly, Diana Emily Evans, daughter of Lawrence Norris Evans, on 9 August 1949.2 He married, secondly, Hon. Juliana Eveline Curzon, daughter of Richard Nathaniel Curzon, 2nd Viscount Scarsdale and Mildred Carson Dunbar, on 3 March 1962.1 He and Hon. Juliana Eveline Curzon were divorced in 1972.1 He and Diana Emily Evans were divorced in 1977.2 He married, secondly, Maryan Gwyneth Talbot, daughter of Patrick Edward Aston Talbot and Gwyneth Maude Sargeaunt, in 1974. He died on 2 November 2004 at age 83.3
He lived in 2003 at L'Etoquet House, St. Ouen, Jersey, Channel Islands.2

Hon. Philadelphia Wharton was the daughter of Philip Wharton, 4th Baron Wharton and Jane Goodwin.3 She married, secondly, Captain John Ramsay.1 A settlement for the marriage between her and Sir George Lockhart, 1st of Carnwath was made on 2 September 1679.1 She died before 19 November 1703.1
Her married name became Ramsay.1 From 2 September 1679, her married name became Lockhart.1

Anne Kerr1

Anne Kerr was the daughter of William Kerr.1 She married, firstly, Colonel Edward Popham, son of Sir Francis Popham and Ann Gardiner Dudley, on 15 October 1645.2 She married, secondly, Philip Wharton, 4th Baron Wharton, son of Hon. Sir Thomas Wharton and Lady Philadelphia Carey, between 24 August 1661 and 26 August 1661.1 She died on 13 August 1692.1
She was also known as Ann Carr.2 From 15 October 1645, her married name became Popham.2 From between 24 August 1661 and 26 August 1661, her married name became Wharton.1 After her marriage, Anne Kerr was styled as Baroness Wharton on 26 August 1661.

Sir George Lockhart, 1st of Carnwath was born circa 1630.2 He was the son of James Lockhart, 10th of the Lee and Martha Douglas.3 A settlement for the marriage between him and Hon. Philadelphia Wharton was made on 2 September 1679.1 He died on 31 March 1689 at High Street, Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland, killed by Chiesly of Dalry, an aggrieved litigant.2
He held the office of Lord Advocate.3 He held the office of Lord President of the Court of Session.3 He purchased Carnwath estate.3
