Jacob Hendrik Graaf van Rechteren was born on 27 November 1787 at Appeltern, The Netherlands.2 He married, firstly, Maria Gravin van Rechteren in October 1806.2 He married, secondly, Maria Antoinetta Charlotte Bentinck, daughter of William Gustavus Frederic Bentinck, 2nd Graf Bentinck and Ottoline Frederica Louisa de Reede-Lynden, Baroness de Reede-Lynden, on 21 June 1822 at Gorssel, The Netherlands.1,2 He died on 9 July 1845 at age 57 at Zwollerkerspel, The Netherlands.2
