Major William Henry Booth was born in 1862.1 He was the son of Maj.-Gen. William Booth and Eliza Emma Russell.1 He married Kathleen Isabel Holder, daughter of Sir John Charles Holder, 1st Bt. and Geraldine Augusta Baynton Knipe, on 1 June 1905.1 He died on 3 June 1950, without issue.1
He was educated at Wellington College, Crowthorne, Berkshire, EnglandG.1 He fought in the Boer War between 1899 and 1900.1 He was awarded the Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.) in 1900.1 He retired from the military in 1906, with the rank of Major, late of the The Buffs (Royal East Kent Regiment.)1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Herefordshire in 1909.1 He was appointed Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.) in 1918.1 He lived at Brynmelyn, Hay, Herefordshire, EnglandG.1

Sir John Charles Holder, 1st Bt. was born on 10 December 1838.2 He was the son of Henry Holder and Maria Purser.3 He married Geraldine Augusta Baynton Knipe, daughter of John Williams Knipe, on 29 August 1872.2 He died on 26 April 1923 at age 84.2
He was created 1st Baronet Holder [U.K.] on 10 March 1898.2 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Birmingham.2 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Worcestershire.2 He was appointed Knight of Grace, Most Venerable Order of the Hospital of St. John of Jerusalem (K.G.St.J.)1 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Worcestershire.2 He held the office of High Sheriff of Worcestershire in 1903.2

Kathleen Isabel Holder was the daughter of Sir John Charles Holder, 1st Bt. and Geraldine Augusta Baynton Knipe.1,2 She married Major William Henry Booth, son of Maj.-Gen. William Booth and Eliza Emma Russell, on 1 June 1905.1 She died in 1960, without issue.1
From 1 June 1905, her married name became Booth.
