Major Charles Martin Clarke1

Major Charles Martin Clarke was born on 28 June 1905 at Keynsham, Somerset, EnglandG.2,3 He was the son of Charles Samuel Clarke and Elsie Margaret Hughes.2 He married Ferelith Patricia Fuller, daughter of Admiral Sir Cyril Thomas Moulden Fuller, on 26 July 1935.2 He died on 25 October 1942 at age 37 at El Alamein, Egypt, killed in action.4
He was educated at Rugby School, Rugby, Warwickshire, EnglandG.2 He graduated from Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, EnglandG, with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)2 He gained the rank of Major in the 3rd King's Own Hussars.1 He fought in the Second World War.2
