William Browne1

M, #360160, b. 3 January 1763, d. 1 April 1840

William Browne was born on 3 January 1763.2 He was the son of Robert Browne and Eleanor Morres.2 He married, firstly, Lady Charlotte Bourke, daughter of Most Rev. Joseph Deane Bourke, 3rd Earl of Mayo and Elizabeth Meade, in 1793.2 He married, secondly, Lady Leitita Toler, daughter of John Toler, 1st Earl of Norbury and Grace Graham, Baroness Norwood of Knockalton, on 8 March 1813.2 He died on 1 April 1840 at age 77.
He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Portarlington between 1790 and 1797.2 He held the office of High Sheriff of County Carlow in 1794.2 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for County Carlow.1 He lived at Browne's Hill, County Carlow, IrelandG.1 He held the office of Lord-Lieutenant of County Carlow.2
