George Francis Augustus Venables-Vernon, 8th Lord Vernon, Baron of Kinderton was born on 28 September 1888.1 He was the son of George William Henry Venables-Vernon, 7th Lord Vernon, Baron of Kinderton and Frances Margaret Lawrance.1 He died on 10 November 1915 at age 27, from illness contracted while on service at Gallipoli, unmarried.1
He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England.1 He succeeded as the 8th Lord Vernon, Baron of Kinderton, co. Chester [G.B., 1762] on 15 December 1898.1 He was with the Diplomatic Service in 1908.1 He was educated at Christ Church, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England.1 He fought in the First World War.1 He gained the rank of Captain in the Derbyshire Yeomanry.1

Robert Shapland Carew, 1st Baron Carew was born on 9 March 1787 at Dublin, County Dublin, IrelandG.1,2 He was the son of Robert Shapland Carew and Anne Pigott.3 He married Jane Catherine Cliffe, daughter of Major Anthony Cliffe and Frances Deane, on 16 November 1816.1 He died on 2 June 1856 at age 69.1 His will was proven (by probate) in May 1857.2
He was educated between 1798 and 1803 at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, EnglandG.4 He was educated at Christ Church, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, EnglandG.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) John Lawrance Venables-Vernon, 10th Lord Vernon, Baron of Kinderton was born on 1 February 1923.1 He was the son of Francis Lawrance William Venables-Vernon, 9th Lord Vernon, Baron of Kinderton and Violet Miriam Nightingale Clay.1 He married, firstly, Sheila Jean Clark, daughter of William Marshall Clark, on 7 July 1955.1 He and Sheila Jean Clark were divorced in 1982.1 He married, secondly, Sally June Stratford, daughter of Robin Stratford, on 14 July 1982.2 He died on 19 August 2000 at age 77.1
