Henry Paget, 4th Marquess of Angelsey

Henry Paget, 4th Marquess of Anglesey was born on 25 December 1835.1 He was the son of Henry Paget, 2nd Marquess of Anglesey and Henrietta Maria Bagot.1 He married, firstly, Elizabeth Norman, daughter of Joseph Norman, on 24 August 1858.1 He married, secondly, Blanche Mary Boyd, daughter of John Christian Curwen Boyd and Margaret Roberta Campbell, on 2 February 1874 at British Embassy, Paris, FranceG.1 He married, thirdly, Mary Livingstone King, daughter of John P. King, on 26 June 1880 at British Embassy, Paris, FranceG.1 He died on 13 October 1898 at age 62 at Plas Newydd, Denbighshire, WalesG, after a long illness.3 He was buried at Llanedwen, Anglesey, WalesG.3 His will was proven (by probate), at a gross of £535,395 and a net of only £22,978.3
He gained the rank of Honorary Colonel in the Queen's Own Staffordshire Yeomanry Cavalry and 2nd Volunteer Battalion, Royal Welsh Fusiliers.4 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.)4 He succeeded as the 5th Earl of Uxbridge, co. Middlesex [G.B., 1784] on 30 January 1880.5 He succeeded as the 4th Marquess of Anglesey [U.K., 1815] on 30 January 1880.1 He succeeded as the 7th Baronet Bayly, of Placenewyd, co. Anglesey and Mount Bagenall, co. Louth [I., 1730] on 30 January 1880.6 He succeeded as the 13th Lord Paget, of Beaudesert [E., 1549] on 30 January 1880. He held the office of Vice-Admiral of North Wales and West Carmarthen.4

Elizabeth Norman1

Elizabeth Norman was born circa 1841.1 She was the daughter of Joseph Norman.1 She married Henry Paget, 4th Marquess of Anglesey, son of Henry Paget, 2nd Marquess of Anglesey and Henrietta Maria Bagot, on 24 August 1858.1 She died on 5 November 1873, without issue.1
Her married name became Paget.

Henry Cyril Paget, 5th Marquess of Anglesey was born on 16 June 1875.1 He was the son of Henry Paget, 4th Marquess of Anglesey and Blanche Mary Boyd.1 He married Lilian Florence Maud Chetwynd, daughter of Sir George Chetwynd, 4th Bt. and Lady Florence Cecilia Paget, on 20 January 1898 at St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church, Sloane Street, Chelsea, London, EnglandG.1 He and Lilian Florence Maud Chetwynd were divorced on 7 November 1900 after she obtained a degree of nullity of marriage.1 He died on 14 March 1905 at age 29.1 He was buried on 23 March 1905 at Llanedwen, Anglesey, WalesG.1
He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, EnglandG.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the 2nd Volunteer Battalion, Royal Welsh Fusiliers.1 He succeeded as the 5th Marquess of Anglesey [U.K., 1815] on 13 October 1898.1 He succeeded as the 6th Earl of Uxbridge, co. Middlesex [G.B., 1784] on 13 October 1898.2 He succeeded as the 14th Lord Paget, of Beaudesert [E., 1549] on 13 October 1898. He succeeded as the 8th Baronet Bayly, of Placenewyd, co. Anglesey and Mount Bagenall, co. Louth [I., 1730] on 13 October 1898.3 In 1904 he became bankrupt for the vast sum of £544,000, even though his estates were worth £110,000 per year.1
