Pauline Curran was born on 9 February 1893 at Hobart, Tasmania, Australia.1,2 She was the daughter of John Bury Curran and Elizabeth Sarah Prosser.1 She married Prince Maximilian Melikoff, son of Prince Peter Melikoff de Somhetie and Freiin unknown d'Osten-Sachsen, on 20 January 1926 at St. David's Cathedral, Hobart, Tasmania, AustraliaG.1 She died on 30 January 1988 at age 94 at London, England.1,2
From 20 January 1926, her married name became Melikoff.1 She was a philanthropist.1

Captain Samuel Irwin Townsend was born circa 1766.1 He was the son of Lt.-Gen. Samuel Irwin Townsend and Elizabeth Aikenhead.1 He married, firstly, Katherine Thomas, daughter of David Thomas, in 1796.1 He married, secondly, Elizabeth Whitfield in 1815.1 He died on 21 October 1849.1
He gained the rank of Cornet on 14 July 1783 in the 1st Foot Guards.1 He gained the rank of Ensign on 22 September 1795.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant on 28 August 1799.1
