He was educated at Clongowes Wood College, S.J., Clane, County Kildare, Ireland G.1 He was registered as a Member, Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (M.R.C.V.S.)1 He lived at Corrinville, Fermoy, County Cork, Ireland G.1

Maj.-Gen. Edward Philip Nagle Creagh was born on 29 February 1896.1 He was the son of Philip William Creagh and Sarah Henrietta O'Callaghan.2 He married Ethel Frances Montgomery, daughter of William Montgomery, on 26 November 1927.1 He died on 15 July 1981 at age 85.3
He was educated at St. Augustine's College, Ramsgate, Kent, England G.1 He graduated from University College Cork, Cork, County Cork, Ireland G, with a Bachelor of Medicine (M.B.)1 He graduated from University College Cork, Cork, County Cork, Ireland G, with a Bachelor of Surgery (B.Ch.)1 He graduated from University College Cork, Cork, County Cork, Ireland G, with a Bachelor of Obstretic Arts (B.A.O.)1 He fought in the First World War.1 He was registered as a Member, Royal College of Physicians, London (M.R.C.P.) in 1931.1 He fought in the Second World War.1 He was DDMS of the Scottish and Western Command between 1951 and 1952.1 He was honorary Physcian to HM The Queen in 1953.1 He was appointed Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.) in 1954.1 He was appointed Officer, Most Venerable Order of the Hospital of St. John of Jerusalem (O.St.J.)1 He retired from the military in 1956, with the rank of Major-General, late of the Royal Army Medical Corps.1 He lived in 1976 at The Old Vicarage, Thriplow, Cambridgeshire, England G.1
