Lt.-Gen. Sir Herbert Edward Watts was the son of Reverend Robert Edward Reginald Watts.3 He married Elizabeth Alice Helena Daly, daughter of General Sir Henry Dermot Daly and Susan Elizabeth Ellen Kirkpatrick, in 1896.1 He died on 15 October 1934.1
He was appointed Knight Commander, Order of St. Michael and St. George (K.C.M.G.)1 He was appointed Knight Commander, Order of the Bath (K.C.B.)1

Charlotte Claudine Georgina Coape was the daughter of James Coape.1 She married Alexander Murray-Dunlop, son of Alexander Charles Colquhoun-Stirling-Murray-Dunlop and Eliza Esther Murray, on 4 February 1873 at Penninghame, Wigtownshire, Scotland.2 She married, secondly, General Sir Henry Dermot Daly, son of Lt.-Col. Francis Dermot Daly and Mary McIntosh, in 1882.1 She died on 22 February 1920.1
From 4 February 1873, her married name became Murray-Dunlop.2 From 1882, her married name became Daly.

Colonel Victor Alexander Henry Daly1

Colonel Victor Alexander Henry Daly was born on 28 December 1889.2 He was the son of General Sir Henry Dermot Daly and Charlotte Claudine Georgina Coape.3 He married Sybil Heyman, daughter of Lt.-Col. Charles Henry Cockburn Heyman, on 30 January 1918.2 He died on 19 March 1971 at age 81 at Pond Cottage, Darby Green, Blackwater, Camberley, Surrey, England.4
He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, EnglandG.2 He fought in the First World War.2 He was awarded the Military Cross (M.C.)2 He retired from the military in 1938, with the rank of Colonel, late of the West Yorkshire Regiment.2 He fought in the Second World War.2 He was one of HM's Body Guard of Honour Corps of Gentlemen-at-Arms between 1939 and 1959.2 He was appointed Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.) in 1945.2 He lived at Pond Cottage, Darby Green, Blackwater, Camberley, Surrey, EnglandG.1
