G/Capt. Albert Peter Vincent Daly was born on 15 July 1891.1 He was the son of Peter Joseph Daly and Marie Jeanne Françoise Montens d'Oosterwijk.3 He married Mary Catherine Wilson, daughter of James Cox Macro Wilson, on 9 February 1932.1 He died on 8 June 1985 at age 93.2
G/Capt. Albert Peter Vincent Daly usually went by his middle name of Peter.2 He was educated at Stonyhurst College, Blackburn, Lancashire, England.1 He was educated at London University, London, EnglandG.1 He fought in the First World War, with the Connaught Rangers, Royal Flying Corps and Royal Air Force.1 He was with the Inter-Allied Commission (Bulgaria) in 1920.1 He fought in the North-West Frontier in 1922.1 He was awarded the Air Force Cross (A.F.C.) in 1929.1 He fought in the Second World War, where he was mentioned in despatches.1 He retired from the military in 1945, with the rank of Group Captain, late of the Royal Air Force.1 He lived in 1976 at Garryannagh, Urra, Nenagh, County Tipperary, IrelandG.1
