Sir William Wyndham Portal, 2nd Bt. was born on 12 April 1850.1 He was the son of Sir Wyndham Spencer Portal, 1st Bt. and Mary Jane Beach. He married Florence Elizabeth Mary Glyn, daughter of Hon. St. Leger Richard Glyn and Florence Elizabeth Williams, on 23 June 1880.1 He died on 30 September 1931 at age 81.1
He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England.1 He graduated from Christ Church, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, EnglandG, in 1874 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)1 He graduated from Christ Church, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, EnglandG, in 1876 with a Master of Arts (M.A.)1 He gained the rank of Captain in 1877 in the Artillery Militia.1 He was director and deputy chairman of the London and South Western Railway.1 He was Junior Brother of Trinity House.1 He held the office of chairman of the Quarter Sessions (Q.S.) in Hampshire.1 He was chairman of Portals Limited.1 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Hampshire.1 He held the office of Vice Lieutenant of Hampshire.1 He held the office of High Sheriff of Hampshire in 1886.1 He held the office of County Councillor (C.C.) of Hampshire between 1889 and 1931.1 He held the office of Alderman and Vice-Chairman of the County Council of Hampshire between 1897 and 1920.1 He was appointed Knight, Most Venerable Order of the Hospital of St. John of Jerusalem (K.St.J.)1 He was appointed Fellow, Society of Antiquaries (F.S.A.)1 He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Portal, of Malshanger, Church Oakley, co. Henry Wyndham Stanley Monck, 6th Viscount Monck of Ballytrammon was born on 11 December 1905.1 He was the son of Hon. Charles Henry Stanley Monck and Mary Florence Portal.1 He married, firstly, Baroness Eva Maria Vreto Zaunmuller-Freudenthaler, daughter of Professor unknown Zaunmuller-Freudenthaler, on 7 July 1937.1 He and Baroness Eva Maria Vreto Zaunmuller-Freudenthaler were divorced in 1951.1 He married, secondly, Brenda Mildred Adkins, daughter of George William Adkins, on 14 December 1951.1 He died on 21 June 1982 at age 76.1
He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England.1 He was educated at Royal Military College, Sandhurst, Berkshire, England.1 He succeeded as the 6th Viscount Monck of Ballytrammon, co. Wexford [I., 1801] on 18 August 1927.1 He succeeded as the 6th Baron Monck of Ballytrammon, co. Wexford [I., 1797] on 18 August 1927.1 He succeeded as the 3rd Baron Monck of Ballytrammon, co.
