Edward Hyde Hamilton Gordon1

Edward Hyde Hamilton Gordon was born on 8 November 1861.1 He was the son of Maj.-Gen. George Hamilton Gordon and Blanche Emma Beatrice Case.2 He married, firstly, Cecilia Maude Manders, daughter of Robert Manders, on 4 January 1888.1 He married, secondly, Hilda Winifred D'Arcy Hutton, daughter of John Timothy D'Arcy Hutton, on 14 October 1897.1 He and Hilda Winifred D'Arcy Hutton were divorced.1
He was educated at Wellington College, Crowthorne, Berkshire, EnglandG.1 He gained the rank of Captain in the Gordon Highlanders.1 He fought in the Sudan Expedition in 1884.1

Cecilia Maude Manders was the daughter of Robert Manders.2 She married Edward Hyde Hamilton Gordon, son of Maj.-Gen. George Hamilton Gordon and Blanche Emma Beatrice Case, on 4 January 1888.1 She died on 3 April 1892.1
From 4 January 1888, her married name became Gordon.
