Windham Quin1

Windham Quin was born in 1717.2 He was the son of Valentine Quin and Mary Widenham.2 He married Frances Dawson, daughter of Richard Dawson and Elizabeth Vesey, in July 1748.1,2 He died in April 1789.2
He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Kilmallock between 1769 and 1776.2 He lived at Adare, County Limerick, IrelandG.1 He also had three other daughters.2

Valentine Richard Quin, 1st Earl of Dunraven and Mount-Earl1

Valentine Richard Quin, 1st Earl of Dunraven and Mount-Earl was born on 30 July 1752. He was the son of Windham Quin and Frances Dawson.2 He married, firstly, Lady Frances Muriel Fox-Strangways, daughter of Stephen Fox-Strangways, 1st Earl of Ilchester and Elizabeth Horner, on 24 August 1777.2 He married, secondly, Margaret Mary Coghlan, daughter of James Coghlan, on 26 February 1816.2 He died on 24 August 1824 at age 72.3
Valentine Richard Quin, 1st Earl of Dunraven and Mount-Earl usually went by his middle name of Richard.2 He was educated at Magdalen College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, EnglandG.2 He was created 1st Baronet Quin, of Adare, co. Limerick [Ireland] on 8 June 1781.2 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Kilmallock [Ireland] between 1799 and 1800.2 He was created 1st Baron Adare, of Adare [Ireland] on 31 July 1800.1 He was created 1st Viscount Mount-Earl [Ireland] on 5 February 1816.1 He was created 1st Earl of Dunraven and Mount-Earl [Ireland] on 5 February 1822.1 He was created 1st Viscount Adare [Ireland] on 5 February 1822.2
