Harriet Albinia Louisa Gordon1

Harriet Albinia Louisa Gordon was born on 14 September 1816 at Scotland.2 She was the daughter of Alexander Gordon and Albinia Elizabeth Cumberland.1,3 She was baptised on 9 December 1816 at Maryculter, Kincardineshire, Scotland.2 She married Charles Elphinstone-Dalrymple, son of Sir Robert Dalrymple-Horn-Elphinstone of Horn and Westhall, 1st Bt. and Graeme Hepburn, on 12 September 1849 at Chapel of Garioch, Aberdeen, Aberdeenshire, Scotland.1,3 She died on 13 February 1854 at age 37.1
From 12 September 1849, her married name became Elphinstone-Dalrymple.1

General John Hamilton Elphinstone-Dalrymple1

General John Hamilton Elphinstone-Dalrymple was born on 5 January 1819.1 He was the son of Sir Robert Dalrymple-Horn-Elphinstone of Horn and Westhall, 1st Bt. and Graeme Hepburn.1 He married Georgian Anne Brigstocke, daughter of William Papwell Brigstocke, on 23 April 1851.1 He died on 28 June 1888 at age 69, without issue.1
He was appointed Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.)1 He gained the rank of Colonel in the 1st Battalion, Highland Light Infantry.1 He gained the rank of General in the Scots Fusilier Guards.1
