Sir William Cockburn of Langton, 3rd Bt. was the son of Sir William Cockburn of Langton, 2nd Bt. and Margaret Acheson.1 He died before December 1657, unmarried.1
He succeeded as the 3rd Baronet Cockburn, of Langton, co. Berwicks [N.S., 1622] circa 1650.1

Sir Thomas Steuart, 1st Bt. was born in 1631.2 He was the son of Sir James Steuart of Coltness and Anne Hope.2 He married, firstly, Margaret Elliot in 1654.1,3 He married, secondly, Susan Denham, daughter of unknown Denham, in 1677.2 He died in 1698.2
He lived at Coltness, Scotland.1 He gained the title of 1st Baronet Steuart, of Coltness.
