Lt.-Col. Roderic Aylward O'Conor was born on 15 February 1910.1 He was the son of Aylward Robert O'Conor and Florence Isabel Newsom.2 He married Lucy Margaret Rossetti, daughter of Gabriel Arthur Madox Rossetti, on 9 October 1933.1 He died on 19 April 2003 at age 93 at Oxfordshire, England.3
He was educated at Shrewsbury School, Shrewsbury, Shropshire, England.2 He graduated from Gonville and Caius College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England, with a Master of Arts (M.A.)1 He fought in the Second World War.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the Royal Artillery.1 He was awarded the Territorial Decoration (T.D.)1 He was a practising barrister.1 He lived in 2003 at The Pond House, Stoke Row, Henley-on-Thames, Oxfordshire, England.1
