Venerable Andrew Nathaniel Wadham Spens of Craigsanquhar1

Venerable Andrew Nathaniel Wadham Spens of Craigsanquhar was born on 25 April 1844.1 He was the son of Maj.-Gen. Andrew Spens and Diana Diggle.2 He married, firstly, Sarah Middleton, daughter of Captain Amos Parr Middleton, on 9 February 1871 at St. George's Cathedral, British Guiana.1,3 He married, secondly, Emma Burgoyne Condon, daughter of James Condon, on 7 November 1882 at Karachi, Pakistan.2,3 He married, thirdly, Martha Ellen James, daughter of Colonel Sir Philip Charles William FitzRoy James and Susan Georgiana Ryder, on 14 May 1902 at Kensington, London, England.3 He died on 13 April 1932 at age 87.2
India 1875 Chaplain , NW Frontier 1878–80, Archdeacon Lahore 1892–1900, matric arms at LO 1897 as Spens of Craigsanquhar.1 He was educated at Loretto School, Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland.1 He was educated at Hatfield College, Durham University, Durham, County Durham, England.1 He was recognised by Lord Lyon King of Arms, and matriculated his arms at the Lyons Court in 1897.1
