Peter Thomas More Hope, 4th Baron Rankeillour was born on 29 May 1935.1 He was the son of Henry John Hope, 3rd Baron Rankeillour and Mary Sibyl Ricardo. He died on 12 April 2005 at age 69.2
He was educated at Ampleforth College, Ampleforth, Yorkshire, EnglandG.1 He was educated privately.1 He was a farmer.1 He succeeded as the 4th Baron Rankeillour, of Buxted, co. Sussex [U.K., 1932] on 2 December 1967.1 He was deputy chairman of the British Sailors Society at Scottish Highlands, Scotland.1 He lived at Archaderry House, Royal Bridge, Inverness-shire, Scotland.1

Sir John Shiffner, 5th Bt. was born on 8 August 1857.1 He was the son of Reverend Sir George Croxton Shiffner, 4th Bt. and Elizabeth Greenall.1 He married Elsie Burrows, daughter of Ogden Hoffman Burrows, on 11 January 1894.1 He died on 5 April 1914 at age 56.1
He fought in the Zulu War in 1879.1 He gained the rank of Captain in the Royal Artillery.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Sussex.1 He succeeded as the 5th Baronet Shiffner, of Coombe, Sussex [U.K., 1818] on 3 January 1906.1
